We have been enjoying more and more evenings walking among the deer in the Deer Park just north of our home. Please enjoy this quiet video or some photos of the park and the world's oldest amusement park (closed for winter, but still open to the public)

I may have a thing for the compression of videoblog videos from 2004-2005, but this old-ish gem has more to offer. DVblog re-posted (with permission) a Ja Rule/Ashanti cover from the long gone Random Show. It's a subtle homage using just a guitar and I can't stop watching it.

It's been four and a half years with the old design so it was about time solitude.dk got a facelift. No more blue, but a lot of dirty yellow. If you're reading through a feed reader I think you should stop by to at least take a look. The masthead photo was taken in the alley of a thrift store in Allston Rock City this spring just as the sun was starting to show up more and more.

On the backend I've been pleased to move from a modified version of the Garland theme to a sub-theme based on the excellent blueprint theme. That hopefully makes it easier to maintain in the future.
